"1000 WOG" is not a model number, but indicates that the maximum working pressure of the valve is 1000 psi for water, oil, and gas media.

WOG stands for Water, Oil, and Gas, meaning the valve or fitting is suitable for use with water, steam, oil, and gas media. It usually appears together with a pressure value, such as "1000 WOG".

Application Scenarios:

A valve marked with 1000 WOG indicates that it is suitable for the following conditions:

Water piping systems (cold water, hot water), oil piping systems (lubricating oil, fuel oil, etc.), gas pipelines (non-corrosive gases). This is commonly found on ball valves, gate valves, check valves, and other valve products.

Unit: psii Unit: bar Unit: MPa Applicable Media Corresponding products
200 13.8 1.38 Water, Oil,Gas Commonly found in small-diameter, low-pressure pipelines
300 20.7 2.07 Water, Oil,Gas Household and light industrial pipelines
400 27.6 2.76 Water, Oil,Gas Some industrial water and oil pipelines
600 41.4 4.14 Water, Oil,Gas Medium-pressure industrial pipelines, commonly using ball valves
800 55.2 5.52 Water, Oil,Gas Medium-to-high pressure pipelines, some flanged valves
1000 68.9 6.89 Water, Oil,Gas High-pressure pipelines, industrial valve standards
1500 103.4 10.34 Water, Oil,Gas

High-pressure industrial pipelines, heavy-duty valves

Additional Notes:

1. Temperature affects pressure: The pressure indicated by WOG is generally at room temperature (20-25°C). The valve's pressure tolerance decreases as the temperature increases.

2. Applicable media: WOG is suitable for water, oil, and gas, but not for corrosive liquids or ultra-high temperature steam. The valve body material needs to be considered.

3. Actual selection: When selecting a valve, it's best to allow for a safety margin. For example, a 1000 WOG valve can be used for applications with pressures ≤ 700-800 psi.
